Carlos Zozaya is an independent feature film producer with a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. As a producer, Carlos has helmed GASOLINE RAINBOW, directed by Bill & Turner Ross, which premiered to great acclaim at the 80th Venice Film Festival and was released by MUBI in 2024. He produced TENDABERRY (Dir. Haley Elizabeth Anderson) premiering at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival (Flies Collective, Dweck Productions, Neon Heart Productions). & he most recently premiered THE ACCOMPANIST (Dir. Zach Woods) starring Susan Sarandon & Aubrey Plaza, at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival.

Carlos has also been a lead producer on TYREL (Dir. Sebastián Silva - 2018 Sundance Film Festival / Magnolia Pictures), AVIVA, (Dir. Boaz Yakin - 2020 SXSW Film Festival - Outsider Pictures/Strand Releasing), WE’RE ALL GOING TO THE WORLD’S FAIR (Dir. Jane Schoenbrun - Sundance Film Festival, 2021 - Utopia / HBO Max), which went on to earn two Gotham Award nominations in 2022, as well as BROKEN THEATER (Dir. Bobbi Jene Smith - Mad Gene Media / Dweck Productions), and the latest film by Bill & Turner Ross, EDGE CITY, coming soon.

Additionally, Carlos has been fortunate enough to be key crew for critically acclaimed films such as: THE FITS (Dir. Anna Rose Holmer), THE EYES OF MY MOTHER (Dir. Nicolas Pesce), CATFIGHT (Dir. Onur Tukel), WE THE ANIMALS (Dir. Jeremiah Zagar), PIERCING (dir. Nicolas Pesce) & served as a Co-Producer on CHAINED FOR LIFE (Dir. Aaron Schimberg).

In 2018 he was selected as a Gotham fellow for the IFFR Producer's Lab in Rotterdam and in 2023 as a Gotham fellow for the 2023 Cannes Producers Network. Carlos was raised in Mexico City and now resides in Brooklyn, New York.
